Job Summary

Nuance's Mobility Division builds innovative, intelligent and intuitive touch and speech interfaces to simplify and enhance the way people interact with mobile devices, applications, and services.  Nuance Mobile solutions make mobile devices and in-car systems easier to use, automate customer self-service, and optimize the access and discovery of even the most advanced mobile applications and content - regardless of technical know-how, location, environment, or physical and literacy capabilities. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • The selected candidate will be responsible for annotations, prompt tuning and localization.
  • Evaluating design and quality of pronunciation dictionaries.
  • Evaluating and correcting dictionary entries.
  • Identifying new entries for general and specialized dictionaries.
  • Writing phonetic transcriptions for new and existing entries.

Qualifications:

  • Expert in following language: Cantonese from Hong Kong and Guangdong.
  • Basic computer user skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet).
  • Phonetic basic knowledge.
  • Enrolled at University.
  • Must be located near to Aachen as this is an office-based role.
