Job Summary

As part of the worldwide Automotive Professional Services organization, you will manage Professional Services projects integrating Nuance’s state-of-the-art speech recognition and speech synthesis software into embedded platforms and applications for major automotive companies in the world. 



  • Manage one large or multiple smaller projects, taking full accountability for project planning and execution
  • Coordinate project execution with Nuance team leaders and specialists in local and international offices (Europe, NA and Asia Pacific)
  • Establish and maintain smooth communication and a solid and productive relationship with the customer through regular reporting, meetings and appropriate follow-up
  • Provide diligent internal reports on project status and revenue tracking
  • Advance Nuance Products and Services by getting our technology out into the real world
  • Contribute to research and technology agendas by providing input from customers and trends observed in customer projects 


Number of Years of Work Experience: 4+

  • Minimum 4 years customer-facing experience managing the full life cycle of complex automotive technology projects
  • Proven skills in working directly with customers
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English is a must
  • Experience with embedded hardware platforms, operating systems, and software development
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with a minimum of direct supervision
  • A good track record at estimating budgets and schedules and delivering on them
  • Ability and willingness to handle period peak demands
  • Demonstrated leadership talent to provide direction, motivation and insights to the project team members 
  • Willingness to travel internationally


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with - or qualification in - speech recognition, speech synthesis, speech signal enhancemnt or related technologies is highly desirable
  • C / C++ Programming skills
  • Good communication skills in German

Education: Bachelors or Graduate University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
