Job Summary

The Senior Director provides overall management and leadership, including developing the strategic direction and providing day-to-day management of a best practices-focused services team and solutions experts.

The Senior Director of Services must be well-versed in project management, operations, technology, serviced selling, and the allocation of resources. The Senior Director will maintain and reinforce a goal-oriented environment that stresses customer success, departmental and employee achievement, and teamwork.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership of Global Professional Services for Nuance Electronic Health Record services business.
  • Ensure client engagements are delivered in a manner which meets/exceeds customer expectations.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, and Marketing, to effectively position and sell professional services through our EHR partners.
  • Maintain a goals and objectives focus for the organization. Develop and implement plans to meet business and team metrics, ensuring attainment of Key Performance Indicators.
  • Accountable for utilization and margin targets.
  • Create and maintain internal processes in order to measure and manage the services offerings portfolio to ensure predictable customer success in every project.
  • Manage the highly skilled and geographically distributed professional services teams including hiring, performance management and reviews, professional development, and coaching.
  • Work to ensure that Nuance products are appropriately utilized and strive to increase overall adoption.
  • Serve as senior-level contact for large or strategic customers and partners.
  • Travel to customer and company sites as required. (Estimate 15-20% travel.)

Number of Years of Work Experience: 15+

 

Required Skills:

  • An Executive with 10+ years leading professional services organizations within technology solutions companies.
  • P&L management of an organization with >$10m in annual services revenue.
  • Demonstrated history of delivering profitable services revenue growth.
  • 5+ years of project management experience with a demonstrated record of success in leading software implementations.
  • Can easily navigate between the business and technical areas of a software implementation project, providing leadership in both.
  • Strong operational, analytical, problem solving and written and oral communication skills.
  • Superior client relationship skills and ability to focus on multiple client needs simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experienced in partner strategies and execution. Enterprise-level deployment experience preferred.
  • Adept with Professional Services Automation tools and/or methodologies. SFDC CRM experience preferred
  • Experience with document imaging concepts preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced Degree preferred.
