The Pricing Analyst is both an analytical and project management focused role that is responsible for pricing optimization and development related to new and existing products and markets. The Analyst will provide input to strategies where changes for current pricing are being considered by providing key feedback, knowledge and leadership around new and existing products. The Analyst will be a key role in working with the various departments to obtain historical data in order to make effective recommendations for pricing strategies. The Analyst will align with other departments such as Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Finance and Operations to ensure accuracy, flow and operational success. This role will also provide subject matter expertise to assist management to determine what products should be modified based on pricing and current market trends.
Partners with various departments to review pricing trends, including Foreign Exchange impacts, and seek to optimize profitable growth opportunities.
Leads meetings with management and other teams to review pricing.
Introduces proposals and articulates business rationale for pricing recommendation and collaborates for mutually agreeable final plan. As new product and/or market opportunities are explored, will research, review, and make recommendations.
Involvement in projects to deliver new products. Will provide input and leadership to help determine optimal pricing model for new products.
Drives pricing priority list across multiple product lines and geographies.
Number of Years of Work Experience: 0-2 (recent college graduate ideal)
Education: Bachelors in marketing, management, finance or operations
