Location: This position can be based anywhere in the US with 50% travel

 

Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated sales professional to join our team as a Federal Sales Manager - U.S. Department of Defense. The Federal Sales Manager will be assigned a territory focus and tasked with identifying, qualifying and capturing new opportunities for Nuance Digital Imaging products and services within the U.S. Department of Defense Agencies. The Federal Sales Manager will conduct prospecting to targeted end users including US Army, Navy, Air Force and Defense Health and will work through our major Partner Channels (Ricoh, KM, Xerox, HP, Lexmark).

 

Responsibilities:

• Developing and closing Department of Defense and Defense Healthcare opportunities where the customer will ideally deploy one or the complete Nuance Document Imaging product portfolio.
• Acting as the sales lead and subject matter expert on all targeted US Department of Defense opportunities for the Nuance Imaging Division.
• Consistently achieving assigned revenue goals on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Ensuring a high level of MFP partner and end user satisfaction with Nuance products.
• Providing feedback and information to internal Nuance stakeholders to assist with product development and marketing of current and future products.
• This position includes 50% travel.

 

Qualifications

Number of Years of Work Experience:  The ideal candidate will have 7+ years solution selling experience that reflects a history of success in software sales into Federal Dept. of Defense Agencies.

 

Required Skills: Experience of selling document management applications, workflow solutions and enterprise capture solutions specifically into Federal Agencies is also desirable.

 

Education: BA/BS Degree is preferred.
