Summary: The candidate is expected to contribute research and prototype implementations for our Collaborative Dialogue Manager (CDM). CDM is a plan-based dialogue system.
Responsibilities: The candidate will work within a team of researchers engaged in state-of-the-art dialogue research and, as part of that team, will interact with other Lab researchers involved in natural language understanding, AI reasoning and technology transition. The candidate is expected to contribute innovative ideas to these teams as well as publish within the research community. An important duty is to also contribute to the software development of system prototypes as well as the testing and integration with other NLU and reasoning components. It is expected that the candidate works effectively with other researchers within the Lab.
Number of Years of Work Experience: 1+
Preferred Skills: Research background in dialogue processing or plan-based systems
Education: PhD in computer science or equivalent.
