Job Summary

The Test Automation Developer works as a member of the QA Automation/Lab management team and reports to the Manager of Quality Assurance. The person is responsible for developing new features in existing automation frameworks - ESQ, developing APIs to support QA automated testing scripts development for NDI Products testing; maintaining MFP/SFP online inventory system; maintaining MFP/SFP meters submission and e-waste list.




  • Participate in designing and developing new features in testing automation framework - ESQ
  • Develop APIs in ESQ to support RESTful testing automation for integrated NDI product testing, e.g EQ, OM, AS, NBC
  • Develop APIs in ESQ to support EQ new web System Manager UI testing automation
  • Develop and maintain up to date Windows template automated installation for QA testing
  • Work together with testers to continuously improve automated testing methodologies enable testers to maximize testing coverage
  • Review functional and technical documentation to identify testing automation requirements for new functionality implementation in ESQ in order to supporting new features test automation for NDI products



Number of Years of Work Experience:  3+ years in software development/testing automation development


Required Skills:

  • Experience and expertise in C++/Java/Python along with Enterprise, Networking, Security, Mobile and Cloud technologies
  • Software architecture design and development experience for large distributed client server system in Windows and Linux environment
  • Working experience with Perforce, Jenkins, Git software development and process management tools
  • Familiar with the development challenges inherent with scalable distributed systems
  • Familiar with Agile Development Methodologies like Scrum
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated and work in a team with a co-operative attitude     

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience in software testing automation development for embedded system

Education: University or higher degree in computer science/engineering or  related technical field.
