Job Summary

Summary: This is an opportunity to establish a solid career in sales! In the Inside Sales Development Representative role, you will apply your resourceful, personable, and intelligent approach to engage with our existing and prospective clients. You will initiate a relationship, probe for a business need, and get the customer excited about the possibilities of Nuance software solutions. You will play a key role in support of your assigned sales team members, and will share in the team’s overall success. As an Inside Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will focus on both the qualification of “warm” inbound leads as well as prospecting to identify opportunities to support the sales funnel and help build a sales pipeline. You will focus on Nuance solutions in the areas of Speech Recognition, Voice Biometrics & Security, Digital Virtual Assistants, Multi Channel Intelligent Self Service, Digital Channels etc. (Don’t worry –you’ll have plenty of time to get up to speed on the products!) As an SDR, your job will be to communicate with prospects by leveraging email prospecting and advanced phone qualifications skills. You will do all associated activities in a B2B model, selling to executives throughout U.S. You will have the opportunity grow your sales career and acquire expertise in the latest sales tools and techniques!

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Collaborate with and support a team of seasoned Field Sales executives • Act as the first line of communication for “warm” customer leads that result from Nuance’s marketing activity.
  • Receive leads from Marketing, qualify them, and engage with your Field Sales Representative to develop a strategy and approach.
  • Represent the complete portfolio of Nuance Enterprise Software products to prospects.
  • Develop sales strategies and approaches for specific named accounts, territory accounts and verticals in collaboration with your Field Sales executive.
  • Set/coordinate customer meetings and/or conference calls, delivery of follow-up materials (marketing material, presentations, case studies, etc.), and maintaining on-going relationships with warm prospects.
  • Develop approach for each account using both internal and external resources.
  • Prospect into these accounts to identify key roles, individuals and business needs • Perform thoughtful and resourceful research to gather contact and company intelligence.
  • Leverage internal resources to develop and expand your lead qualification skills, including the Integrated Sales Methodology (ISM) sales approach.
  • Develop a pipeline of Qualified Sales Opportunities for the field Account Executives..
  • Maintain all prospecting and lead response activity in SFDC.
  • Prospecting = 70%, Lead Response 30%.

Qualifications:

 

  • 1-3 years of telephone sales experience in either marketing, lead qualification, sales or relevant telephone role.
  • Active interest or experience in the software industry
  • Enjoys working with and being responsive to customers.
  • High energy, self-motivated, proactive, enthusiastic, and goal-oriented.
  • Strong speaking and written communication skills with excellent telephone skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Very well-organized, and strong time management/prioritization skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and LinkedIn and SFDC preferred.
  • Team player
  • Bachelor degree required.
  • Role reports to office in Burlington, MA (Unfortunately, remote employees will not be considered)
