Job Summary

The purpose of the role is to lead the development and implementation of an effective Marketing strategy in the DACH region (Germany, Switzerland and Austria) and rest of Central Europe for the Enterprise division, to execute the Marketing Plan, and to work closely in cooperation with the EMEA and Corporate marketing organization for the creation and implementation of each project.

Nuance needs a Field marketer who has demonstrable experience in developing creative integrated marketing programs that will drive revenue and align with the goals of the sales leadership team.

The Field Marketing Manager reports to the Director of Marketing Manager EMEA and works closely with the regional Sales organizations. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Coordinate with Marketing Communications team in development of overall positioning and messaging to the Sales Team, delivering customer promotions for all markets and buyers and target customers.

  • Manage communications to the sales team, delivering all prospect facing demand generation campaigns and metrics initiatives including weekly follow-up emails concentrating on results and analysis, asking why something is working/not working and helping to develop an action plan if needed.
  • Organize/Coordinate and support marketing events such as trade shows, conferences, and webinars. Help to define external messaging and positioning, through press releases, analyst briefings targeted toward customers and/or partners.
  • Manage marketing budget for your region. Drive the development and execution of marketing campaigns for lead/demand generation, coordinating with key stakeholders – regional sales and marketing, marketing communications, product management and business development.
  • Own localization of sales support presentations, demo specifications, and relevant collaterals (e.g., product brochures, data sheets, white papers, case studies, etc.)
  • Closely working with your Marketing colleagues in the other European regions but also with USA & APAC, sharing best practices.
  • Maintain customer database and own/promote  the NSpire program for DACH/Central Europe.

Number of Years of Work Experience: 5/7 years +

 

Required Skills: 

  • Strong communication (written and verbal), leadership, and marketing strategy skills.
  • 5+ years direct field marketing experience in enterprise-class software.
  • A demonstrated ability to execute on multiple projects and excel in a fast-paced, results-orientated work environment.
  • Skilled in making presentations and demonstrating products to audiences of different participants (e.g., customers, analysts, technical peers, non-technical professionals) and size.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and Eloqua
  • High energy and passion for their work.
  • A team player, effectively interacting with employees at all levels within the company
  • Customer facing experience preferred.
  • Fluent in German and English

Preferred Skills: Multi lingual – German & English fluent – additional languages like Polish a plus

 

Education: MBA preferred
