Job Summary



At Nuance, we measure our success by the value we bring to our customers. In the case of Nuance CSP (Communications Service Providers) division, our customers are telecoms and media providers across the globe. The Product Manager will work be responsible for Nuance Loop, an artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics-powered marketing platform for mobile operators that delivers new revenue streams and enhances existing ones. Nuance Loop already supports over 700 million subscribers daily, giving mobile operators the ability to market and monetize personalized services to subscribers across a broad range of services, including messaging, advertising and financial services.


The Product Manager will be responsible for defining and driving the Loop platform strategy in support of our carrier customers. This includes developing new services and the appropriate channels to reach the intended audience with compelling offers. The candidate will be an expert at leveraging analytics to optimize the return on engagement as well as other key metrics, ARPU (Average Revenue Per User), churn and loyalty/ NPS (Net Promoter Score). The Product Manager will work in collaboration with Product Development, Marketing and Sales to identify market opportunities and define a product roadmap that accelerates growth. 


This Product Manager will act as the business and technical owner and will need to stay abreast of the latest technologies and trends to define and execute product strategy, and to ensure market needs are met with compelling products that deliver maximum benefit to customers and maximum impact to Nuance and our Carrier partners. 



  • Articulate a well thought-through and compelling vision for Nuance Loop, including consumer behavior trends and how Nuance Loop will evolve with market needs
  • As a thought leader, demonstrate a vision that defines the value that Nuance contributes to the service provider space, bringing together Nuance’s overall assets, in addition to Loop
  • Lead product management efforts for Nuance Loop platform, with responsibility for defining the product roadmap to achieve the vision
  • Using analytics, provide regular reporting on platform’s financial contributions and continually implement enhancements to improve KPI’s
  • Conduct market analysis and opportunity assessment for current and future products aimed at maximizing revenues and margins
  • Analyze financials and develop business cases to justify investments and define priorities.
  • Present market requirements, trends, competitive landscape, product roadmap, pricing and packaging options, cost model, and P&L to the executive team
  • Take the lead on shepherding product through the new product introduction process (NPI). Lead cross-functional and cross-divisional coordination for the successful design, development, delivery, documentation, training, launch, sale of new services
  • Effectively package new offers for sale through Nuance teams as well as through Carrier partners, managing go-to-market to meet or exceed annual revenue targets
  • Drive strong communication processes between product management, sales and Carrier partners, ensuring a clear feedback loop to inform product and services evolution
  • Provide subject matter support to sales, and Carrier partners



Number of Years of Work Experience: 8+ years Product Management experience



Required Skills:

  • Deep experience with marketing platforms and a proven track record of driving revenue growth for mobile operators from a variety of services, such as messaging and advertising
  • Data-driven approach
  • Demonstrable ability to leverage vast amounts of data to generate monetizable insights, preferably using AI/ ML (Machine Learning) techniques
  • Strong user experience knowledge, with the ability to demonstrate why certain user experiences are superior
  • Proven ability to unify a cross-functional team of opinionated design, technical, commercial, financial, marketing, sales and executive colleagues behind your vision
  • Experience working closely with partners in developing joint solutions
  • Proven ability to successfully manage the product lifecycle of complex technical software
  • Ability to work with senior management and technical teams to produce world-class products
  • Proven ability to identify key customer requirements and translate them into detailed product requirements for next generation products
  • Self-starter and autonomous, who acts with urgency and integrity

Preferred Skills:

  • International experience
  • Experience with Agile development methodology 


  • BS in Business Administration, Marketing/Advertising, or related field
  • MBA preferred
