Job Summary

Enterprise Finance is seeking a senior finance analyst who can leverage their past experience and compliment the growth of the BU Finance team.  We are looking for an individual who will structure conversations for smart business decisions, encourage open communication among the team and establish a framework for strong financial analysis, reporting and business support.  This Finance role will have responsibilities around budgeting, forecasting and analytical activities across the Business Unit, supporting our Digital and Voice lines of business. 

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Financial business partner to the functional leadership of the Enterprise
  • Work with senior leadership to institute standard review processes, KPI’s and dashboards
  • Build a deep knowledge of levers driving gross margin across all lines of business
  • Contribute to the development of the annual plan and forecast, as well as deliver high impact analysis and produce reports in support of broad divisional
  • Ad hoc financial modeling and analysis as needed
  • Provide P&L and cash flow modeling for major deals and new programs and products
  • Provide financial leadership in the development of BU annual plans and forecasts
  • Direct planning responsibility for COGS, operating expense, headcount and capital
  • Partner with sales finance on revenue. Provide comprehensive and informative management reporting for the Division
  • Prepare monthly management reports emphasizing operational/financial performance metrics, historical results, budgets, forecasts, and trends
  • Perform actual to budget/forecast variance analyses highlighting risks/opportunities
  • Perform detailed review and tracking of revenue to forecast. Assist in monthly accounting close, including detailed expense and labor cost review/validation
  • Ensure overall integrity of the BU’s financial data through application of solid understanding of GAAP and relevant company accounting policies
  • Develop and maintain a timeless business models for Business Units based on understanding of product trends, market dynamics, pricing, major deals, cost structure, etc.
  • Ad hoc financial modeling and analysis as needed
  • This position involves regular interaction with Division GM, LOB GMs as well as Sales leadership teams.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years work experience within either Corporate or business unit finance, with a strong focus in financial and business analysis, preferably in a high-tech matrix environment
  • Strong hands-on experience in complex financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting, analysis and reporting
  • Willingness to dig deep into details as well as the ability to assess the big picture
  • SaaS experience preferred, Finance, accounting or Business degree, CPA or MBA highly desirable
