Job Summary

Job Responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitoring the threat landscape, to ensure we are always preparing for what comes next and adapting our strategy as needed, when needed, and focusing on the right techniques.
  • Maintaining security guidance for operating system security, network security, incident detection and response.
  • Participating in the governance process and contributing to security policy development.
  • Acting as a security consultant for various IT projects in multiple divisions.
  • Integrating multiple systems together to create semi-automated and automated workflows, leveraging data from multiple platforms.
  • Analyzing threat data and acting as an escalation point for the security operations team.


Qualifications/Experience: 8 years


Required Skills:

  • Solid understandings of network and systems security, as well as cloud security.
    • Knowledge of enterprise level SIEM or log management systems
  • Ability to write scripts using a common language such as Python, Ruby or Go
    • Solid understanding of networking concepts
    • Linux, Windows system administration skills.
    • Ability to multi-task under strict deadlines.
    • Professional and interpersonal skills. 
    • Ability to work effectively and contribute within a team environment.
    • Experience with security related technical tools and processes is required.


Preferred Skills: 

  • CISSP or equivalent security certification is required.
  • Experience with compliance frameworks, regulations, etc, such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001 or HIPAA.


Education: Computer Science degree or Equivalent Experience
