Job Summary

We are looking for someone with experience in Contact Center technologies, Computer Telephony Integration (CTI), and Interactive Voice Response (IVRs) systems to join our team of skilled technical consultants. As a member of the Nuance Systems Integration team, you will be involved in the implementation of solutions for compagnies seeking to improve their customer self-service automation and authentication (voice biometrics) systems. Projects involve a variety of technical environments and frequent customer interactions.

  

You will be assisting teams going through the full life cycle of projects including designs, installation and configuration, testing, documentation, and providing maintenance and support.

  • Install and configure speech recognition and voice biometrics software solutions
  • Contribute to project documentation such as build books and runbooks
  • Troubleshoot and provide support during testing phases and after deployments
  • Write and maintain shell scripts to automate tasks
  • Participate in performance testing of our solutions
  • Maintain and support the Nuance lab used by development and testing teams (administering access, installations, updates, etc)

Work Experience: 2 to 5 years. 

Required Skills and experience:

  • Software installation, configuration, deployment, and support, on Windows and Linux
  • Databases (i.e. MSSQL, Oracle).
  • VoIP, SIP
  • Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, switches, firewalls, and routers)
  • Virtualization
  • Network diagnostic tools (e.g. WireShark)
  • Web technologies such as HTTP, load balancers, web application servers, SSL/TLS certificates
  • Able to write and maintain Shell/PowerShell/Python scripts
  • Excellent time management skills are required to fulfill customer project delivery commitments.
  • Fluency in English required (reading, writing, speaking)

 Preferred Skills:

Experience with:

  • Telephony (PBX, call routing, etc)
  • Load generation tools such as JMeter, RTPReplay, etc
  • IVR platforms (including installation) of the industry-leading providers (Avaya, Genesys, Cisco)
  • Ability to interact professionally and confidently with customers.
  • Working knowledge of French and Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Have current valid passport that will allow travel between the US and Canada, and sometimes in Europe.

 

Education:CEGEP or Bachelor degree, and 2+ year Telecom and Contact (Call) Center related experience.
