Summary: Nuance’s Communication Service Providers (CSP) business unit is focused on enabling carriers to generate and grow revenue via subscription or other value added services mechanisms. Our mission is simple - to help mobile consumers easily subscribe to a service or to buy the best offer at the best time from their CSP.


The Field Marketing Manager is responsible for acceleration of overall business growth within portfolio of customers in EMEA. You will partner with local teams (Sales, Presales and Customer Success Managers-CSM) and Business Unit teams across Nuance’s CSP organization to deliver NEW products to existing customers and prospects but also to support sales acquisition of new customers with EXISTING products. To be successful, the Field Marketing manager will also need to develop strong relationships with customers in order to understand their ongoing needs.


The Field Marketing manager reports to the Global Field Marketing Manager.



• Responsible for adapting the value proposition (Go to Market) to the local market, evangelism of best practices and creation and support of Sales in presenting customer-ready proposals and offers.
• Managing the service lifecycle within portfolio of customers - define the user experience, identify improvements and feature prioritization.
• Responsible for customization/adaptation to the local market the generic CSP offering: product collateral, sales tools and content, training for sales and customer facing business models, strategy, win-loss analysis, and competitive analysis.
• Partnering with local commercial teams (Sales & Presales) to market the product and drive awareness. Attend regional trade shows and events, generate leads and drive revenue growth


Experience Requirements:

• A relevant college degree
• 5-10 years of Marketing experience in a TELECOM VENDOR, whether at start-ups or larger organizations focused on carrier REVENUE GENERATION services.
• +5 years of experience in at least one of the following areas: Carrier Sales, Product Marketing, Product Management.
• Proven expertise in mobile carrier navigation, decision making and product evangelism.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Strong understanding of MEA region, particular experience and relationships in Middle East and Africa (Essential)

• To win this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of mobile ecosystem, from VAS to mobile advertising and marketing with enthusiasm and passion for equipping sales teams with all they need to win the deal. You enjoy meeting with customers, have a keen instinct for interpreting what they are communicating beyond what they actually say, and be highly motivated to engage the resources you need to craft compelling responses.
• You will have a background in carrier sales, mobile marketing or carrier marketing either through applications services or direct with an advertising agency or aggregator.
• Having a good understanding of value added services, post and pre-paid carrier environment, mobile marketing and advertising a plus. In this role you will be instrumental in defining both organic and inorganic regional growth initiatives.
• You are someone who has experience working as part of cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
• You will be a self-starter, able to take personal initiative and operate without daily coaching. Willingness and ability to roll up sleeves and get his/her hands dirty is critical.
• You will have a track record of designing new offers (for Carrier grade services) and thinking and working beyond the confines of your role. You will have a high degree of natural curiosity and an eagerness to tackle new and challenging projects for which there is no obvious right answer. Possessing a demonstrated ability to think and operate successfully at a conceptual, strategic level and being able to create detailed, accurate tactical plans and models to support those strategies, you will be a highly flexible individual both in thought and practice.
