Job Summary

The candidate will need a minimum of a secret security clearance and will focus on setting up and configuring the Dragon Medical One (DMO) environment, which will be hosted by Cerner in their data center. Cerner will take care of the infrastructure components and the candidate will focus on the application tier.  The candidate will report to the Senior Manager of Development Operations and will work closely with R&D (DMO) to become a SME for the DMO platform.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting and maintaining the DMO environment hosted in the Cerner data center for the Department of Defense project.
  • Coordinating OS patching, application upgrades, application troubleshooting and capacity management.
  • Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for secure

Required Sills and Experience:

  • Minimum of seven years of professional experience in systems engineering, software development or software operations.
  • Experience with Configuration Management, Programming, Agile (Scrum / Kanban), Monitoring (Nagios, Prometheus), Windows Server & Linux experience. Load balancing (F5), DevOps.


  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required. Strong preference given towards individuals with a graduate degree.
