Job Summary

The candidate will focus primarily on scaling Dragon Medical One’s footprint – our industry-leading speech recognition software product used in the Healthcare industry. You would be mainly working on the UK environment and other EMEA initiatives such as hosted NMS, our management system. The candidate will also help rollout our security and monitoring tools to all environments outside of the US and mentor junior members of the team and evangelize DevOps.


It’s an exciting time to join us! We are a fast-paced growing team currently migrating to Microsoft Azure – you’ll gain exposure to and training in Azure and be constantly challenged and learning to keep up to date with the latest Azure trends and how they can be applied.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing Azure templates
  • Extending our configuration management functionality
  • Build and support our UK environment
  • Extend the monitoring tools for Dragon Medical One
  • Automate application deployments using CI / CD, capacity management.

Required Skills and Experience:


  • Experience - a mix of the following: Software engineering, Hosted cloud, Systems Admin, Operations, DevOps - around 5 years
  • Azure or any Cloud experience – or good windows server knowledge
  • Configuration management – such as Saltstack, Ansible, Dsc,
  • Programming – such as Python or Powershell
  • Agile (Scrum / Kanban), DevOps
  • Linux
  • SQL knowledge would be a bonus


  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
