Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager Clinician Experience, the Trainer PS-Dragon Medical Services will lead clinicians and medical staff members at various customer locations through the training process for all Dragon the deployment of our Outcome Based Learning, Coaching, Adoption and Sustainment Programs.

 

Responsibilities: 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide role-based training (including clinicians, super users, corporate site trainers, etc.) for all Dragon products either onsite or remote
  • Listen to needs of the customer for additional training opportunities
  • Complete pre-training site testing to be sure Dragon products are fully operational
  • Administer customer satisfaction survey at the completion of training
  • Submit daily training reports
  • Assist with technical issues in the field
  • Book travel pursuant to Nuance Travel Policy guidelines
  • Submit expense reports promptly for reimbursement

Qualifications: 

 

Number of Years of Work Experience: 1-2

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Prior experience delivering training
  • Ability to travel 100%
  • Familiarity with software development/implementation life cycle
  • Working knowledge of different Electronic Health Record systems.
  • Ability to understand and clearly articulate how Dragon Medical products and services can benefit the user
  • Relationship and customer management skills including coaching, mentoring and conflict resolution.
  • Working knowledge and experience of MS Office applications including SharePoint, OneNote, and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently, superior organization and planning skills to plan and prioritize work and respond to conflicting deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement, discuss problems, analyze solutions/options, evaluate and enable improved processes and manage ambiguity.
  • Basic knowledge of electronic physician documentation biomedical informatics, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Clinical Language Understanding (CLU).
  • Self-sufficient, multi tasker that requires minimal supervision
  • Ability to facilitate an engaging, professional, and effective learner experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of speech recognition and transcription systems
  • Previous healthcare experience

Education: Degree in healthcare information management or computer science; work experience may substitute
