Direct management of Project Managers on CAPD team. Currently this is a team of 3 with expectation of growth as pipeline expands in next few years. Standardization of processes and roll out of enterprise project management program
Provide leadership for and oversee the execution and completion of CAPD implementation projects in the professional services arena
•Maintain staff productivity and manage revenue expectations including budgeting, forecast projections, milestone tracking, staff billable and non-billable time management between client and Nuance
•Monitor project completion from initiation through delivery to meet revenue and cost projections, interfacing with external customers and field-based employees on technical matters as needed
•Act as single point of coordination for all program-level initiatives
•Develop and maintain client relationships necessary for balancing client satisfaction and company business development interests
•Identify and communicate sales opportunities, both product, training and consulting, within existing client base and prospects
•Assist Account Executives with sales process providing content input on contract proposals for HIM implementation services
•Provide one-on-one coaching session with direct reports on a weekly basis and with skip-level employees on a quarterly or more frequent basis to ensure company and team goals are on-track
•Review, monitor and approve staff time sheets, expense reports and other business tracking metrics as required by corporate protocol
•Manage personnel issues as they arise including both corrective action and commendations
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field preferred or combination of equivalent of education and experience
Minimum years of work experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in Health Care related field
•Experience managing people and projects
•Ability to use a laptop PC, MS software applications including Project and other various software applications as required.
•Ability to write business correspondence, software and procedural documentation
•Ability to verbally respond to inquiries, questions or problems from clients
•Excellent writing, editing, interpersonal and communications skills
•Professional appearance and presentation required
•Demonstrated ability to exercise solid judgment and discretion in handling and disseminating information
•Ability to lead multiple and complex projects with rapidly changing priorities and deadlines
•Excellent time management, decision-making, and organization skills
•Excellent interpersonal skills to lead a team project and serve as a liaison with customers
•Excellent problem solving skills
•Expert knowledge of organization's products and application areas
•Able to serve effectively as liaison between company and customers
•Ability to travel nationally for staff development and business development opportunities as needed
Preferred skills: Proficient with multiple Nuance product lines or major module and excellent knowledge of client HIS application and its various components
