Job Summary

Manage the sale of the Nuance document imaging products and services through the distribution channel (sales to dealers/agents) on a geographic basis. Duties include creating demand through MFD partner selling organizations and developing business by assisting partners with end user sales and marketing activities




  • Deliver division targets in the assigned territory for the fiscal year.
    • Manage reseller and end customer satisfaction
    • Work with team members to devise strategies for underperforming market segments or customers, and evaluate if and how to adjust sales tactics accordingly.
    • Recruit as needed to expand their team to support increased sales levels, and bring additional Sales and Professional Services resources to the delivery and customer support process.
    • Formulate business cases and solution scenarios, leading to adoption by end users and customers..
    • Oversee the ongoing record maintenance of full sales opportunities and activities in Nuance’s forecasting/CRM system (
    • Prepare and present frequent reports (weekly) to senior management on status, results, as well as progress and activities on projects, forecasts, and sales revenues.
    • Manage and implement policies and procedures for their direct sales teams, and devise process improvements that result in enhancements to the sales process and/or increased sales.
    • Respond to partner/customer requests for quotes/configuration within the published turnaround timeframe.


Education: Associates degree Bachelor’s degree preferred

Minimum years of work experience: 5

Required skills:
3+ years of experience selling software solutions, preferably advanced capture and print mgmt software solutions
Experience working with channel partners
Ability to create strategies that add value to the business
Proven track record of exceeding annual targets
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
High ethical standards
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.

Preferred skills:
Domain experience, successful track record in a related Partner Sales Role, MFP industry experience. experience. Strong sales & technical ability to demo and lead webinars with customers and partners
