    Job Summary

    The AI Principal Product Manager (PPM) is a great opportunity to develop next-generation software and hardware based solutions to support the overall vision of Nuance Healthcare related to AI and virtual assistants.  The AI PPM will work with customers, R&D, research, outside vendors and other functions to develop robust requirements, wireframes, POCs and roadmaps for their product lines.

     

     

    Principal Duties and Responsibilties:

     

    Understand the Market

     

    •Be the market expert of the product lines for team and management

    •Lead customer advisory board and in-field research

    •Be current on 3rd party research and competitive analysis

    •Develop, track and maintain market model

     

    Prioritize Problems

     

    •Considered a product/solution expert

    •Lead, develop and mentor others on business cases

    •Prioritize roadmaps across product lines

    •Be (and be recognized as) the pied piper for cross-functional team

     

    Design Solutions

     

    •Working with customers, partners, and engineers, drive and deliver requirements, user stories, wireframes and workflow

    •Lead all aspects of the GTM process

    •Drive a cross-functional team to high quality and on-time releases

     

    Optimize Value

     

    •Manage product line pricing and drive ROI

    •Manage product risk

     

    Education: Bachelor’s Degree; Masters/MBA strongly preferred

     

    Minimum years of work experience: 7+ years; with 5+ in product management

     

    Required skills:

    B2B product management experience in the software, tech, internet industries with 5+ years of demonstrated, successful product management and product ownership

    •Delivery of products involving AI and/or virtual assistant technologies including an understanding of statistical methods used in AI

    •Experience serving and/or knowledge of healthcare workflows

    •Prior experience with EHRs, speech recognition, NLP, SaaS, and or cloud computing technology a strong plus

    •Ability to articulate and develop value propositions for software products and services

    •Knowledge of pricing and price modeling

    •Ability to work effectively and lead cross-functional teams with the goal on driving to conclusion/consensus on security technologies and process

    •Experience developing robust, customer-centric product and service requirements using Agile methodolgy, Confluence, JIRA or similar tools and process

    •Excellent relationship skills, able to build rapport quickly and easily with domain experts

    •Undergraduate degree

     

    Preferred skills

    •Undergraduate degree in engineering and/or computer science

    •MBA or Masters in Engineering

    •Experience in the healthcare industry

    •Deep understanding of AI-related technologies

    •Leadership skills to lead cross-functional teams and drive execution and delivery of programs

    •Customer-centric … understanding, insights, and segmentation

    •Strong clear-thinking capability to focus on what is most important

    •Capability to understand at the micro-level and make decisions at the macro-level

    •Ability to build strong trust-based relationships in a matrix organization and deliver the best solution for the customers

    •Ability to “see around corners” to identify new market opportunities

    •Strong Say:Do ratio … execution oriented

    •Strong oral, written, and financial skills
