    Job Summary

    This Principal Product Manager (PPM) role will work across multiple healthcare product lines developing security requirements for products, services, and related customer-facing processes. They will translate customer requirements, healthcare division controls, and evolving security trends into actionable product requirements across a portfolio of products.




    Strategy & Discovery
    •Work directly with external and internal customers to understand market, segment, regulatory, customer (VOC), and technology trends related to healthcare security and privacy.
    •Monitor regulatory and market requirements related to HITRUST, GDPR, etc. to ensure products stay ahead of the curve on security technologies and processes
    •Contribute to multiple roadmaps on the topic of security requirements and features with eye towards re-use and standardization for operational efficiency and customer experience purposes
    •Ability to translate general controls and policy related to security and privacy into actionable product and process requirements

    Planning & Design
    •Work with other product, engineering, and security teams to develop actionable security requirements for multiple product lines
    •Prioritize security features by need and risk and ensure they are reflected in near-term roadmaps

    Deliver & Maintain
    •Identify process gaps and needs related to product security. Design and implement related processes.
    •Be a mentor to other product managers. Through education and training, drive a security mindset for all product design and development

    Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for secure.



    Education: Bachelor’s Degree; Masters/MBA preferred

    Minimum years of work experience: 7

    Required skills:

    • B2B product management experience in the software, tech, or healthcare industries
      •5+ years of demonstrated, successful work in security, privacy related to the Healthcare industry
      •Background in healthcare technology and regulations with expertise in HIPAA, HITRUST, CSC-20, NIST, ISO27001, GDPR and other security and privacy regulations
      •Demonstrated experience with technologies like multifactor authentication, encryption, logging/aggregation, user management, and authorization
      •Experience with Secure SDLCs, B-SIMM, and other security lifecycles models
      •Prior experience with EHRs, speech recognition, NLP, SaaS, and or cloud computing technology a strong plus.
      •Ability to develop security-based technology and process requirements translating general policy into actionable items for engineering and service teams
      •Ability to work effectively and lead cross-functional teams with the goal on driving teams to conclusion/consensus on security technologies and process
      •Experience developing robust, customer-centric product and service requirements using Agile methodology, Confluence, JIRA or similar tools and processes
      •Excellent relationship skills, able to build rapport quickly and easily with domain experts
      •Undergraduate degree

    Preferred skills:

     •Undergraduate degree in engineering, computer science, or security-related field
    •MBA or Masters in healthcare management or security related field
    •5+ years experience in the healthcare and security industries in the following functions: InfoSec, regulatory, compliance
    •5+ years’ experience in software development
    •Leadership skills to lead cross-functional teams and drive execution and delivery of programs
    •Customer-centric … understanding, insights, and segmentation
    •Strong clear-thinking capability to focus on what is most important
    •Capability to understand at the micro-level and make decisions at the macro-level
    •Ability to build strong trust-based relationships in a matrix organization and deliver the best solution for the customers
    •Ability to “see around corners” to identify new market opportunities
    •Strong Say:Do ratio … execution oriented
    •Strong oral, written, and financial skills
