    Senior Manager Accounting Operation will reporting to the Senior Director of Global Revenue Operations & Americas Accounting, this position is responsible for managing the North America Accounting team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner.  This team is responsible for the accounting activities for over ten legal entities.  Core responsibilities are as follows:

    • Manage a staff of 7+ accounting professionals as well as coordinate the activities assigned to our 5-member shared services team located in India.
    • Lead monthly and quarterly close activities, including review of P&L and Balance sheet flux analysis as well as reconciliations and journal entries associated with the following business/accounting cycles: cash; pre-paid assets; AR; fixed assets; facilities; legal and other accruals; payroll accounting entries; debt; FX hedging; and supplementary non-GAAP disclosures.
    • Support the process to integrate processes and accounting associated with acquired entities.
    • Partner with other functional teams to continuously assess and improve fiduciary controls, accounting accuracy, operational efficiency and SOX compliance.
    • Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
    • Skilled in the ability to coach and develop teams.
    • Support external statutory reporting requirements as needed.
    • Review and analyze financial reports and variances to identify trends, escalate issues, and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
    • Maintain appropriate internal controls over assigned areas
    • Responsible for managing the relationship with external auditors for assigned areas and partnering with them to drive operational efficiency. 

    Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of experience in a publicly traded company and/or public accounting firm (Big 4 or regional firm)
    • 4 years of managing and developing teams with a focus on KPI’s and metrics.
    • Comprehensive understanding of US-GAAP accounting guidance and business processes associated with the business/accounting cycles.
    • Strong attention to detail combined with ability to think strategically
    • Ability to effectively communicate with peers, business partners and Accounting senior leadership
    • Demonstrated ability to perform in a dynamic fast-pace environment
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
    • Knowledge of Oracle e-Business Suite, including GL, AP, FA, iExpense, iProcure, Cash Management preferred
    • Knowledge of Hyperion is preferred
    • Bachelor’s in Accounting / Finance
    • Master Accounting or MBA or CPA preferred
