    Job Summary

    Summary: Reporting to the Supervisor of Support Renewals, the Renewals Representative will work directly with Nuance customers, both direct end users and partners, to ensure that their Contract Renewals are ordered prior to contract expiry, through a mix of proactive and reactive processes.

    The employee will serve as primary representative to assigned customers on all renewal matters. Employee will manage delivery of quotations and will pursue renewal opportunities to closure (win/loss outcome). Employee will also conduct regular follow up with customers regarding specific book of business and manage an accurate quarterly forecast for the assigned business. Employee will also work strategically to reinstate expired customers as well as to explore upcoming renewals throughout the year. Employee will also assist in Quarterly Business Reviews and will manage distribution of proactive quotes and metrics as deemed necessary.

    The employee will also assist with research and quarterly projects as assigned by leadership.



    • Achieve/exceed quarterly and yearly quota
    • Delivery of Support Renewal Quotes, proactively or in response to a customer request.
    • Effectively sell Support renewals to assigned partners/territory.
    • Aggressively manage partner opportunities resulting in order of renewal offer. 
    • Manage pipeline with probability of closure along with expected timeline of order.
    • Responding to customer inquiries about existing support coverage and future contract expiry timeframes.
    • Work with Partners to develop processes for the proactive renewal of support contracts to increase overall renewal rates with each partner and for specific lines of business.
    • Create and manage proactive quotes according to guidelines set for the business. 
    • Staging of renewal orders when necessary. 
    • Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for security


    Number of Years of Work Experience: -2


    Required Skills:

    • Strong Customer Contact / Customer Relationship Building background experience
    • Solid Sales Acumen
    • Strong written and verbal skills essential
    • Track history of meeting/exceeding quotas
    • High level of attention to detail
    • Proficiency in Excel

    Preferred Skills:

    • Customer service background
    • Software or Prior Renewal sales experience
    • Knowledge of Oracle preferred
    • Background in Quoting/Ordering with customer contact

    Education: College Degree or strong commercial experience in a similar role
