    Job Summary

    Summary: The Security Analyst Intern will participate in a broad range of security operations, Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) initiatives, and analysis tasks in support of a comprehensive security program that is designed to support the Nuance Information Security and Risk Management framework. This intern will join an existing organization committed to exceeding the expectations of customers, adding company value, and self-growth.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Participate in the creation of security, risk, and compliance processes.
    • Assist with project coordination and operational tasks.
    • Work with various teams to assist in achieving multiple goals as a security team.
    • Respond to incidents with support from the rest of the team.
    • Participate in various ongoing security processes, such as vulnerability management, risk assessments, etc.
    • Participate in the review and/or evaluation of security products and/or services to determine the most effective solution.
    • Perform other information security related tasks, as needed.
    • Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for securing

    Qualifications

    Number of Years of Work Experience: none required

     

    Required Skills:Basic understanding of information security and compliance concepts; Ability to multi-task under strict deadlines; Professional and interpersonal skills; Ability to work effectively and contribute within a team environment; A demonstrated passion towards information security.

     

    Education: Ongoing university level studies in information security, computer science or a related field.
