Privacy legal interns will report directly to the CPO and other members of the privacy office as needed. Privacy legal interns will focus on assisting with the mission of the privacy office which is focused on design and implementation of a global data governance program for Nuance. The privacy office supports the broader legal team with legal questions and issues focused on data protection and information security.
Assist in Privacy Program Development and assist to ensure compliance with Privacy Program Requirements.
Review various customer contracts for privacy and Protected Healthcare Information use and restrictions and determine level of permitted tasks.
Monitor and triage the firstname.lastname@example.org e-mails.
Review and comment/make changes to various contractual provisions relating to data protection and information security, privacy notices, and policies.
Assist the Incident Response Team in the review and coordination of potential privacy or data security incidents, including investigations, notifications, and other resolution efforts.
Assist with obtaining and imputing information for purposes of seeking Privacy Shield Certification.
Maintain agreement tracking log concerning privacy matters as well as with vendors concerning software Nuance uses for privacy purposes.
Assist CPO in any way with the enhancement of Nuance’s global privacy program.
Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for secure.
Education: Law School – current enrollment or completion
