    Job Summary

    The Sr Account Manager for  Maintenance & Support  Renewals  is a sales role.  The Account Manager will sell approximately $16 Million US Dollars in annual M&S contracts.  They will manage the $7 Million USD annual M&S stream from Avaya, Nuance's largest partner in M&S contributions. 

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Sell annual Maintenance & Support  Renewals through global partners like Genesys and Verizon, as well as top tier direct accounts.
    • Account Management (Inside Sales) role selling Maintenance & Support Renewals (Technical Support) to Nuance’s existing Install Base of customers & large partners.
    • The Account Manager has an assigned, named account base and is responsible for an individual (versus group) quota. The customer base comes from top industry partners and a broad customer base giving a unique access to a set of top tier “name brand” customers.
    • The quota is based on a highly predictable set of accounts with M&S amounts outlined in contract thus making quota highly achievable for the right person.
    • Utilize sales skills to identify and maintain key relationships within accounts and partner with Nuance Sales to facilitate M&S Renewals.
    • Develope a thorough understanding of licensing terms, M&S and Tech Support contract terms etc. and will be able to act in a consulting capacity to their customer by articulating key concepts and facts about how to work best with Nuance.
    • Support the negotiation of  M&S pricing and terms to maximize M&S Renewal fees.
    • Leverage excellent in-house tools to create quotes and manage pipeline,  deal progression, and forecasting.  

     

    Qualifications: 

    • 3-5 years Inside Sales Experience
    • BA Degree
    • Sales of Technical Support Renewals, Software products, or related industry experience a plus
    • Bilingual-Fluent Spanish speaker a plus
    • Professionalism in all interactions
    • Comfort level with managing customer data
    • Enjoys working as part of a fun, happy team
