    Job Summary

    We work with a wide range of partners including Canon, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Xerox and HP to provide industry leading solutions to our clients throughout the world. Our Professional Services team is responsible for supporting our sales team’s in some pre-sales activities as well as project managing and implementation of Nuance Document Imaging software solutions at end user sites. We are recruiting for an experienced consultant, preferably with industry experience, to join our team.

     

    • Install and configure the Nuance NDI software solutions following Nuance Professional Services Methodology.
    • Ensure that project time is properly managed and tracked in our Oracle and RightNow systems.
    • Ensure projects are executed and are closed following our Nuance Commercial Services VSOE requirements.
    • Ensure key project stake holders are notified weekly regarding project status.
    • Provide pre-sales support by working closely with our sales teams to understand and define clients key business drivers and requirements.
    • Propose software solutions which meet those requirements, ensuring they are technically viable and add value to the overall proposal.
    • Creation of customized integration between our software and third-party applications.
    • Managing partner and customer expectations
    • Provide knowledge transfer sessions and, workshops and trainings
    • Ownership of Professional Services projects throughout the project lifecycle
    • Produce high quality levels of documentation covering Analysis, Design, System Build, Rollout and Health Checks
    • Create software quotations and a level of effort document (Statement of Work) which include implementation costs.
    • At times the Professional Service Consultant will be responsible for supporting the NDI Sales teams throughout the contract lifecycle including at client review meetings and identifying opportunities to upsell into existing accounts.
    • Liaise with clients post sale to develop project documentation including Statement of Work and implementation plans.
    • Communicate effectively with internal Nuance teams when raising concerns to ensure effective delivery of projects.

     

    Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for secure.

     

     

    Education: Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent

     

    Minimum years of work experience: 3 years industry experience

     

    Required skills:

     

    • Establish progress monitoring procedures, including frequency of status update meetings.
    • Balance project priorities, and effectively resolve issues and problems in a timely manner.
    • Seek input from and manage expectations from stakeholders and project champions.
    • Keep project team and all stakeholders regularly informed.
    • The ideal candidate will have experience in a Project Management role
    • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to confidently present sales proposals
    • An advanced understanding of IT/Networking concepts including Microsoft client and server operating systems, Microsoft SQL Server, Active Directory, LDAP, network management (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, firewalls), and printer management (printer drivers, printer languages, printer installation) a Microsoft Certification would be advantageous
    • Advanced administration skills, in particular using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team with shared objectives and on own initiative


    • Previous experience of software solution design
    • Excellent time management, particularly the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in line with business objectives
    • Previous experience in an software consultant or technical architect role
    • The ideal candidate will have experience in a project management role and service delivery.
    • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to confidently present professional services proposals
    • An advanced understanding of IT/Networking concepts including Microsoft client and server operating systems, Microsoft SQL Server, Active Directory, LDAP, network management (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, firewalls), and printer management (printer drivers, printer languages, printer installation) a Microsoft Certification would be advantageous
    • Advanced administration skills, in particular using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team with shared objectives and on own initiative
    • Previous experience of software solution design
    • Excellent time management, particularly the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in line with business objectives
    • Advanced administration skills, in particular using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

     

    Preferred skills:

     

    • An advanced understanding of IT/Networking concepts including Microsoft client and server operating systems, Microsoft SQL Server, Active Directory, LDAP, network management (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, firewalls), and printer management (printer drivers, printer languages, printer installation) a Microsoft Certification would be advantageous
    • Familiarity with scripts/code such as VBScript/JScript, VB.net, C#.net as well as webservices (SOAP/REST).
    • Technical knowledge of the following fields of expertise is considered a plus:
    • High Availability and Load Balancing
    • Cloud solutions (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS)
    • Micro services

    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team with shared objectives and on own initiative
    • Previous experience of software solution design
    • Travel Required – 40%
