    Job Summary

    The Role

     

    Are you an energetic, motivated and creative person? As the Talent & Culture Specialist you will partner closely with the broader T&OD team and other HR team members to deliver some of our most critical people and culture initiatives. In this role you will participate in planning, development and execution of Nuance’s onboarding and exit processes, employee engagement measurement and action planning, diversity & inclusion programs, community outreach activities and various culture initiatives.

     

    Key responsibilities include:

     

    Onboarding Program Management:

    • Facilitate and manage corporate onboarding processes across for our global employee base, including both new and acquired employees and managers
    • Prioritize and implement relevant process enhancements to ensure delivery of an integrated and timely orientation and onboarding program

    Employee Listening and Engagement:

    • Support employee listening and engagement activities, including planning and executing employee surveys (i.e., engagement, onboarding, exit), interpreting and analyzing data and employee feedback, designing training resources and partnering with various HR and business stakeholders to communicate results

    Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) and Community Impact:

    • Program management and delivery of various D&I and Community Impact initiatives and priorities through partnership with internal and external stakeholders. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting with refining the D&I strategy and roadmap for Nuance and developing and implementing targeted programs that promote a diverse and inclusive environment across the organization (i.e., Employee Resource Groups, inclusive training and professional opportunities, etc.).
    • Other activities include targeted community outreach and philanthropic initiatives that support Nuance’s overall corporate social responsibility strategy

    Culture Initiatives:

    • Partner with broader T&OD and HR teams and various business leaders to facilitate and execute a variety of strategic culture initiatives for Nuance’s global populations. This includes, but is not limited to, employer branding activities, employee communication, recognition initiatives,

    Evaluation and Metrics:

    • Support the measurement/effectiveness of T&OD initiatives across the business and assist in identifying and implementing changes and improvements as appropriate
    • Perform special projects as required

    Role Requirements

    • Demonstrated ability and initiative to analyze and resolve problems quickly, efficiently and collaboratively
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills using a variety of communication channels
    • Experience with HR policies and practices
    • Ability to manage multiple global projects at once
    • Demonstrated problem solving skills
    • Proven collaboration and internal/external consulting skills
    • Strong project management and organizational skills with clear attention to detail
    • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint require. Experience with Office 365, Talent Management Systems a plus
    • Working knowledge of survey methodologies, analytics, KPIs and reporting dashboards

    Education & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree required with minimum of 3 years’ experience or advanced degree
    • Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or closely related field preferred
