    Job Summary



    Responsible for building new relationships and managing existing partnerships with automotive OEMs, EV start-ups and technology suppliers in California. Experience in Automotive or ADAS/Autonomous software Sales or Business Development is required, preferably with a strong technical background and understanding of Automotive software/head unit/infotainment systems and applications.



    • Responsible for developing new business relationships and opportunities with OEMs, EV start-ups and technology suppliers/partners in California, taking into consideration new trends and dynamics in the automotive infotainment/autonomous space.
    • Foster and strengthen relationships with existing customers/key accounts and develop growth opportunities within these accounts.
    • Obtain RFQs and program information and structure technical/commercial/legal proposals with the help of other Nuance departments.
    • Manage all aspects and administration work related to assigned accounts and coordinate stakeholders and activities across various departments within Nuance globally. Assist locally with technology demonstrations and evaluation requests as well as technology benchmarks.
    • Forecast and deliver commercial pipeline against assigned quotas/objectives. 
    • Report status, activities, forecasts to the global Automotive management team
    • Present and communicate Nuance’s roadmap for Dragon Drive, Automotive Assistant incl. AI, speech, content, service solutions and demonstrate applications in face-to-face customer meetings.
    • Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for securing.



    • Successfully completed a university degree in business, engineering or computer science.


    Minimum years of work experience:

    • 5 years


    Required skills:

    • Minimum 6+ years experience in integrated or hosted software solutions Sales or Business Development with familiarity in at least one of the following fields: AI, automotive, Speech Recognition/NLU, navigation, virtual assistants or ADAS/Autonomous.
    • A background in automotive with a thorough technical understanding of automotive infotainment systems and applications is strongly preferred
    • Dynamic individual, must possess strong interpersonal skills and presentation skill.
    • Team spirit, hands on mentality, organized and able to work independently.
    • Willingness to work with remote teams and stakeholders in a multi-cultural, global organization located across different time zones
