    Job Summary

    Human Resources Generalist 

     

    Focuses on daily HR operational and tactical activities.  Provides support to the human resources business partner organization in the areas of HRIS/compensation/benefits, staffing/employment, employee relations, and/or organizational development (OD) and training.

    • Employee Relations: Participates in tier 1 employee relations - interprets HR guidelines and processes, provides information to employees on matters pertaining to their personal employee information, counsels employees concerning work-related problems and provide feedback to management when necessary. 
    • Organization Effectiveness: Participates in implementing workforce planning goals and process improvement initiatives; collaborates with international HR team on country-specific needs
    • Program Management: Facilitates the performance management, bonus planning, focal and equity planning processes; prepares and delivers related reports to the HRBPs and business leaders; partners with TA team to support Division/Function hiring processes including the contingent workforce
    • Data Gathering and Analysis: Participates in data gathering and analysis as it relates to compensation and/or benefits activities and employee turnover
    • Employee Engagement and Training: Supports new hire and employee on-boarding process and other employee training and may be involved in needs assessments and recommendations; supports employee engagement initiatives including local employee team building and social initiatives
    • Administration: Facilitates employee terminations and conducts exit interviews; prepares turnover analysis and may provide recommendations for employee retention efforts.  Processes various forms related to documenting human resources activities such as change-of-status and terminations, etc. Coordinates with HRIS, Payroll and Benefits teams to process administrative transactions as needed.
    • Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for securing.

     

    Education

    MBA or graduate level degree in Human Resources or related field of study

     

    Experience

    • 2 to 3 years HR and/or business experience (w/Master’s Degree)
    • Ideal candidate will have previous HR experience including a working knowledge of employment laws, compensation practices, recruiting and HR procedures and systems

    Key Skills and Attributes

    • Intermediate to advanced level of expertise in MS Office tools
    • High EQ
    • Business oriented
    • Formal training in project and process management, financial accounting, business strategy and operations and/or sales/marketing operations.
    • Ability to work and build strong relationships with senior managers, leaders, partners and customers, including those in the c-suite
    • Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and negotiate and collaborate effectively
    • Highly analytical - ability to understand business metrics, customer and market trends
    • Strong communication, inter-personal, and cross group collaboration skills; the ability to build and deliver effective presentations
    • Ability to engage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders; from end users to senior management/executives
