    Job Summary

    Summary:

    The Dragon Medical Implementation Engineer position is responsible for the technical implementations of Dragon Medical software. This includes architecting, implementing, and troubleshooting of the solution.

     

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide customer implementation guidance with regards to application needs during new customer implementations of Dragon Medical and upgrades based on best practice experience.
    • Identify, recommend, and implement system configuration recommendations and perform remote system installations and configurations.
    • Resolve advanced product hardware and software application problems.
    • Provide guidance, expertise, and consulting to customer’s end users in the assessment of application design, application use/efficiency, and training needs.
    • Assist with full implementation of Dragon Medical products.
    • Manage timelines and project milestones via project management standards.
    • Responsible for functional and technical remote training of customers.

    Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

     

    Education: Minimum of Associate’s degree and/or equivalent experience

     

    Number of Years of work experience: 2+

     

    Required Skills: 

    • Experience with desktop and server operating systems
    • Experience in IT (healthcare IT experience preferred)
    • Knowledge and proven application of at least one programming language or specialized IT skill
    • Previous experience administering or implementing organizational software such as Microsoft Exchange or Active Directory
    • Previous experience participating in or leading projects is required
    • Excellent communication skills

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop
    • Experience with VMWare virtual desktop/application
    • Experience with electronic medical records systems (Epic Hyperspace, Cerner Millennium, Allscript SCM, Meditech Expanse, etc.)
